LAKE FORK FISHING GUIDE

Some of you may recognize the fish on the left. Her name was Ethel she weighed 17 lbs 10.67 oz. I caught her in November of 1986. Ethel was the state record for Texas for over 6 years. She was caught on a jig. The current state record is 18.18 lbs and was caught on minnow and crappie rig.

Ethel was the first fish entered in the Lone Star Lunker Program and spent the rest of her life at the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, Missouri. A cartoon character of Ethel is one of the spokesfish for the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center at Athens, TX.

I have been guiding fulltime since 1982, starting on Lake Lavon and moving to Fork in 1984. I have been fishing tournaments since 1972, ranging from local jackpot tournaments to B.A.S.S. National Tournaments and B.A.S.S. Top 100 Tournaments. In 1978 I was the I.B.A. Angler of the Year.

I guide day or night. Night trips are available June to September.

Our group wants you to catch fish. We can teach you the old ways and the new ways to fool that bass of a lifetime.

Fees:$ 325.00 per day, 1 or 2 people.

$ 200.00 for 1/2 day, 1 or 2 people.

$ 100.00 deposit required for each day booked.

Equipment: Each client furnishes his or her own tackle. We can furnish
tackle if needed. The client is responsible for lost or broken tackle.

Boats:We furnish safe and comfortable, fully rigged bass boats. There is
no additional charge for fuel.
